Developed by Karen Olivier from Northern Gardener, Polaris is her first beefsteak tomato release, named after the North Star for its standout qualities.

Growth Characteristics
Polaris features vigorous, disease-tolerant, potato leaf indeterminate plants. These plants are hardy and display good tolerance for cooler temperatures, ensuring consistent growth throughout the season.

Fruit Description
The fruit is a dusky maroon beefsteak, weighing 10-12 oz. each, with a firm, meaty texture and a smooth core containing few seeds. This combination makes Polaris ideal for sandwiches.

Flavor Profile
Polaris boasts a deep, sweet, and complex flavor, enhancing its status as a celestial highlight in the garden. Its rich taste and substantial size make it perfect for a variety of culinary uses, especially during its mid-season harvest, approximately 75 days from transplant to maturity.
